Triumph 99 Legend? Specifics.
Honda Rebel?
I am really a beginner and want something easy to manage at my level. Also, looking for an inexpensive, used bike to start with

The Honda Rebel is a good choice, and inexpensive. You might also want to check out the other 250cc motorcycles that are out there - if you can sit on it with your feet flat on the ground you will feel much more comfortable than if you are on your tippy-toes. But at 5'3'' you shouldn't have much trouble. Happy riding!

You can't go past a Yamaha Virago if you can find a decent one at the right price.
i don't know what inexpensive is to you.. but i just bought a bike 3 mths ago.. its a v650 star Yamaha touring bike. i am 126lbs and 5'5''. i love it. it moves well and handles well it is a great learning bike. I will keep it for about 3-4 years and then move up to the 1100? something like that for a bigger motor. the only thing with the bike is that once you get to 65 you feel the motor really gearing up. Id prefer later some more horsepower. but for now it is absolutely perfect.. It is loaded with flat foot-boards forward and reverse switch gear, 4 year warranty, windshield, loaded with chrome. 9,ooo brand new. insurance was cheap too.
Be sure to take a safety course, but a great first bike is the Kawasaki Ninja 250. New they list at $2999 but you can pick up one with very few miles for a little over $2000. Put some miles on it, ride it for a year or two and you can sell it for about what you paid for it.
